One arrested, one on the run after Columbia chase

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Columbia Police said one man has been arrested and another is on the run after a vehicle chase Sunday morning.

Officers said the suspects fled after police matched the vehicle's description with a stolen vehicle. The truck also had stolen plates.

The chase that ensued, ended on Highway WW in Columbia after the truck crashed into a barrier exiting a roundabout.

Police on scene were spread out on various roads looking for the subject and were also searching nearby areas with flashlights.

Police said the suspect is an male in his mid 30's wearing a red jacket.

Columbia PD ask if anyone has any information regarding this suspect, to reach out to the department or call 875-TIPS to stay anonymous.
