Columbia man allegedly threatens T-Mobile store after not receiving a refund

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

A Columbia man is charged after allegedly threatening to shoot up the T-Mobile store at 2101 W. Broadway after not receiving a refund on an online transaction.

According to court documents, Edward Wallace went into the store seeking a refund and after speaking to an employee and a manager got frustrated with them and pushed over a computer.

As Wallace was leaving, several employees allegedly heard Wallace say he would "shoot up the store."

Wallace left the store and Columbia police tracked him down to his residence where he was arrested. Wallace told police according to court documents that he "damaged their computer," but denied making threats.

Wallace is charged with 2nd-degree terrorist threat and 2nd-degree property damage.

The court denied Wallace bond.

Wallace's next court date is Feb. 3 and Feb. 17.
