Tracking scattered showers into this evening, wintry mix far north

TONIGHT: Showers taper off with mostly cloudy skies. Lows fall into the upper 20s. A few slick spots will be possible north of Highway 24.

TOMORROW: Tuesday is chilly and breezy behind this system, with wind gusts up to 20 mph. Highs in the low 30s with wind chills in the low 20s.

EXTENDED: Another weaker low pressure system will track across the area on Wednesday, bringing the potential for a dusting to a half inch of snow to Mid-Missouri as highs stay in the low 30s. Wind chills fall into the single digits to mid-teens during the day. We begin a warming trend late Thursday into Friday with more sunshine and highs in the upper 40s to end the week. Another system moves in on Saturday from the south, bringing temperatures up into the low 50s with widespread rain for much of the day. Rain amounts could reach 0.5" to 1". Sunday is about ten degrees cooler as we fall back into the low 40s.
