Man receives serious injuries in Miller County crash

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

A man was taken to University Hospital in Columbia after a crash Sunday morning.

According to crash reports, it happened on Route A west of Indian Trail Road in Miller County around 12:15 a.m.

Joshua Cox, 27, of Tuscumbia, Missouri was driving a vehicle when it went off the right side of the road and overcorrected. The vehicle then traveled across the road and off the left side of the road, overcorrected again crossing the center of the roadway, and overturned.

Jacob Hager, 23, of Eugene, Missouri was a passenger in the vehicle. EMS crews took him to University Hospital by ambulance.

Neither Hager or Cox were wearing seat belts at the time of the crash.
