COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

A crash has blocked Route M near Ashland, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The crash is at Route DD, just west of Ashland, the patrol's Troop F said on its Twitter account.

"The roadway is blocked so please avoid the area," the patrol said.

Other information about the crash was not immediately available.
