25-year-old hurt in shooting at Columbia apartment complex

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

A 25-year-old man suffered injuries that were not life-threatening in a shooting Thursday at a Columbia apartment complex.

Police were sent to Heather Ridge apartments at about 8:30 p.m. Wednesday. Officers found a man with gunshot wounds, who was alert when police found him, the Columbia Police Department said in a news release. The man was taken to a hospital by ambulance.

Officers found no property damage.

Police did not provide any other information.
