Tracking minimal chances for rainfall today
TODAY: Clouds have returned this morning and a stray sprinkle will be possible throughout the day. Some more measurable rain will try to push into our western counties, near the Hwy 65 corridor, around midday. There’s still some question as to how far east that will push but it looks light. Most of us look to stay dry, with highs getting into the upper 40’s thanks to a southeasterly breeze.
TONIGHT: Those light showers pivot into our southern counties tonight. With temperatures falling into the low 30’s, that’s expected to mix in some snow by the morning.
EXTENDED: Some light flurries will be possible tomorrow morning. Areas from the Lake of the Ozarks to Rolla could pick up a light dusting by the time this system wraps up. We’ll be stuck in the middle 30’s during the afternoon with clouds and cooler air here to stay. We’re pretty quiet going forward with no notable disturbances bringing active weather. Highs will reach the upper 30’s through the weekend with mostly cloudy skies lingering. The sunshine and 40’s will move back in toward the beginning of next week.
