Tracking light snow early, dense fog overnight into Sunday

TONIGHT: Snow showers early, potentially mixed with light sleet or drizzle. A dusting to 1/2" of snow accumulation is possible. Dense fog is likely overnight as ice tries to melt, and there may be a few slick spots into the morning. Lows in the low 20s.

TOMORROW: Dense fog early, followed by mostly cloudy skies. Highs in the upper 30s.

EXTENDED: Fog is likely again tomorrow night into Monday as snow and ice begin to melt with southwest winds bringing warmer air to the area. Temperatures Monday will likely remain in the lower 40s with wintry precipitation keeping the ground colder. Tuesday is warmer as temperatures climb into the upper 40s, with more sunshine expected. Our next closed low pressure system will bring a chance for rain and potentially some brief wintry mix Wednesday into early Thursday as it dives in from the northwest. Temperatures fall into the lower 40s behind the system on Thursday, followed by a chilly end to the week in the 30s on Friday.
