Tracking a cool end to Christmas

TONIGHT: Mostly clear and cold with lows in the low 20s.

TOMORROW: We get a break from the cold air as our arctic air mass moves east, leaving us with southwest winds and mild temperatures for the weekend. We can expect temperatures to warm into the upper 40s.

EXTENDED: Sunday will be warm as well with highs in the 50s. A weak disturbance will bring a few clouds to the area on Sunday, followed by a cool down for early next week into the 30s on Monday and Tuesday. Another storm system moving in from the west on Tuesday into Wednesday will bring the threat of precipitation. We'll likely see a mix transitioning to rain Tuesday into Wednesday, with a few snow flurries into early New Year's Eve. Stay with ABC 17 Stormtrack Weather as the situation continues to develop.
