Tracking a few showers, big cooldown Wednesday

TONIGHT: Increasing clouds and breezy with gusts overnight up to 25 mph. Temperatures remain in the upper 40s.

TOMORROW: Mild to start, but the cold front will bring a chance of showers by early afternoon. Temperatures fall into the upper 30s to around 40 by early evening. Overnight lows fall into the upper teens to around 20, with wind chills between 5-10 degrees above zero.

EXTENDED: The frigid air mass sticks with us Thursday and Friday for the holiday, with cold sunshine expected. Wind chills fall into the low single digits on Christmas morning, but begin to warm up as air temperatures get into the low 30s on Friday. We warm even more for the weekend, saying hello again to 50 degrees on Saturday and potentially into Sunday. Another chance of showers followed by flurries is possible Sunday behind another front that cools us into the 30s to start next week.
