Crash in Columbia shut down Rock Quarry Road Sunday night

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

UPDATE (9:50 p.m.): Both lanes of Rock Quarry are back open.

ORGINAL: Emergency crews blocked of Rock Quarry Road after a car crashed shortly before 9 p.m. Sunday.

The crash happened on Rock Quarry near Stags Way.

An ABC17 crew on the scene saw one care crashed in the trees on the side of the road. It's unclear if anyone is hurt.

Two Columbia Police cars, and ambulance and two fire trucks are responding to the scene.

CPD is redirecting traffic while crews respond.
