Tracking a warm up for the rest of the week

TONIGHT: Mostly clear and chilly with light winds and lows in the low to mid-20s.

TOMORROW: Partly to mostly sunny and warmer with temperatures climbing into the low 40s.

EXTENDED: The warming trend continues through Friday with gusty winds from the south pushing our highs into the low 50s with increasing clouds by afternoon. Another front makes its way across Mid-Missouri Friday night into Saturday, bringing a chance for a few showers overnight into Saturday along with about a 10-12 degree temperature drop. We warm right back up to near 50 with more sunshine on Sunday, followed by a mild start to next week. Monday and Tuesday get into the low to mid-50s before another disturbance brings a chance for precipitation and much cooler temperatures ahead of the holiday weekend. By Christmas Eve, we'll see below average temperatures settle in and stay cold for Christmas and the following weekend.
