Mizzou set to return following COVID-19 cancelations

COLUMBIA, Mo (KMIZ)

The Mizzou women's basketball team will reopen its season against No. 21 Missouri State, following a string of cancelations due to COVID-19.

The Tigers canceled and/or postponed four games, following the season opener against North Alabama, due to a positive case of COVID-19 and contact tracing.

Robin Pingeton said she was away from the team for most of the two weeks off and multiple players were put into a mandatory quarantine.

They practiced as a full team on Saturday for the first time since the layoff.

We spoke with Robin Pingeton and her players ahead of their return to the court. You can watch those interviews in the video players below.
