Police: Shooting damaged property on Michigan Street

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (KMIZ)

Jefferson City police say a residence and a vehicle in the 600 block of Michigan Street were damaged in a shooting Wednesday night.

Police Capt. Deric Heislen said officers received a call about the shooting around 10:30 p.m. The caller told police multiple multiple shots were fired and a vehicle sped away from the area.

It's unclear how many shots were fired on the street or if anyone was hurt.
