Columbia police block Andy Drive in north Columbia on Tuesday, Dec. 8, 2020, for an "incident."

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Police say there is no evidence showing the driver of a sedan with a busted back window fired a gun during a north Columbia shooting.

Officers closed off Andy Drive on Tuesday afternoon after several calls of shots fired. Police found four vehicles and a home that had been damaged by bullets. No injuries were reported.

Police saw a dark-colored sedan speed away from the scene with rear window damaged that appeared to have come from a gunshot, according to a Columbia Police Department news release. The release said police later pulled the car over and there was no evidence to suggest the driver had fired a gun during the Andy Drive incident.

CPD did not say if the driver was involved in the incident in some other way.
