Fog burning off across the region, warmer weather ahead!

THIS AFTERNOON: Fog from the morning has burned off, temperatures will make a slow climb to near 50 by 2-3pm before quickly dropping off into the 40s this evening.

TONIGHT: Mostly clear skies will develop overhead, with lows only making it into the middle 30’s thanks to a southwest wind.

EXTENDED: That gets us off to a head start on Wednesday with highs jumping into the upper 50’s and low 60’s! Plenty of sunshine will accompany these warm temperatures, so get out and enjoy it while it’s here. Thursday is going to be more of the same if you don’t have the opportunity Wednesday. Things start changing again moving into Friday. A frontal boundary will approach the area, bringing the return of rain to Mid-Missouri just about all day long Friday. Some of that may spill over into Saturday. If that ends up being the case, a few snowflakes could mix in as cooler air returns. Highs on Saturday and Sunday will step back into the 40’s.
