Clouds slowly clearing this afternoon

THIS AFTERNOON: Clouds are slowly peeling away this afternoon-- we'll remain chilly though with temperatures holding in the upper 30s and low 40s.

TONIGHT: Skies will stay mostly clear tonight with lows falling into the upper 20’s and low 30’s. Fog is possible, especially in our southwestern counties overnight into the morning.

EXTENDED: Quiet weather will be the staple of this week through Thursday. Highs will top out in the upper 40’s with a little more sunshine. Temperatures trampoline into the upper 50’s and low 60’s on Wednesday as southerly winds return. That will keep up into Thursday before our next storm system moves in for Friday morning. A cold front will move in, bringing rain chances back to Mid-Missouri. With temperatures in the 50’s Friday, wintry weather doesn’t look to be a concern. Rain will wrap up during the day Saturday as colder temperatures return, with highs stuck in the 40’s this weekend.
