Sedalia man charged after Interstate 70 chase, crash in October
BOONE COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)
A Sedalia man is charged on multiple counts after a chase ends on Interstate 70 in Boone County on Oct. 21.
According to the probable cause statement, a Missouri State Highway Patrol trooper pulled over a truck for going a high rate of speed on I-70 near mile marker 126.
According to the trooper, Alexander Bradley gave a fake name and asked for a warning for speeding.
The trooper told Bradley to get out of the vehicle and that is when Bradley drove off according to court documents.
After a few miles, the truck crashed near exit 128 and Bradley escaped on foot leaving behind a passenger with injuries.
While waiting for EMS to arrive, the trooper found out from the passenger what Bradley's real name and that he was from Sedalia. According to the passenger, Bradley was driving because of the thick fog that night.
Bradley is charged with resisting arrest, leaving the scene of an accident, operating a motor vehicle carelessly and speeding (exceeded 26 mph or more).
Bradley has a $50,000 cash only bond.
