Much warmer and windy for Saturday as rain exits

TONIGHT: Showers and perhaps a few thunderstorms overnight. Patchy fog possible early. Getting breezy with warming temperatures overnight. Morning temperatures in the low 50s.

SATURDAY: Rain and storms exit early, leaving us warm and windy through the day. Highs get into the lower 60s with wind gusts between 30-35 mph.

EXTENDED: A cold front moves across the region on Sunday, bringing MUCH colder air and continued gusty winds. Highs only make it to the low 40s, and with wind gusts in the 30-35 mph range, wind chills remain in the low 30s. A few showers and/or light snow showers will be possible north of I-70 early in the day as moisture wraps around low pressure to our north. No accumulation is expected with that. Next week is quiet and mild as highs get back just above normal through late week.
