Tracking another sunny day before rain chances return
WEDNESDAY: Another bright afternoon on tap today! That sunshine will help warm temperatures into the upper 40’s with some getting to 50 this afternoon.
TONIGHT: Our next disturbance rolls in tonight. Rain will push in around midnight south of I-70. After initially moving in as rain, a few snowflakes may start to mix in. It won’t amount to anything more than a grassy dusting in some spots. Overnight lows will fall right around the freezing mark-just a touch too warm for all snow.
EXTENDED: After a brief mixing with some snow, that will turn back over to all rain Thursday before departing toward the afternoon. Highs will only warm to near 40 in the afternoon. If this system slows down, we may have to bring back rain on Friday, but most of that should be east of the area. Another disturbance dives south Saturday but looks to make a dry pass through the area. Temperatures look to remain pretty seasonal going forward, with highs in the 40’s just about every day.
