Tracking quiet weather for now, next storm on the way

TONIGHT: Cold air sinks in tonight. Temperatures will fall to near 20. Wind chills will be in the mid 10s.

TUESDAY: It will be less cold tomorrow than it was today, with sunshine sticking around. Expect highs around 46 degrees. Winds will turn out of the south, leading to a slow warming trend into Wednesday.

EXTENDED: Clouds will build throughout the day Wednesday with highs reaching the upper 40s. Those clouds are the approach of our next storm system which will bring a rain/snow mix starting near the Lake of the Ozarks Wednesday night into Thursday morning. The rain/spread towards I-70 by Thursday morning. Impacts are not expected at this time, with temperatures hovering at or above freezing Thursday morning. It will remain chill Friday and into Saturday.
