Tracking wind chills climbing out of the teens

BLUSTERTY

MONDAY: After a rude start to the workweek, temperatures will attempt to get back to the freezing mark this afternoon. Highs in the middle 30’s and that northwest wind will gust around 25-30 mph-keep the coat handy today. We’ll have plenty of sunshine to look at, on the bright side.

TONIGHT: Those mostly clear skies we enjoy will lead to one of the coolest nights we’ve seen this season. Lows will tumble into the low 20’s and some teens by daybreak.

EXTENDED: After a frigid start, temperatures do much better at recovering Tuesday with continued sunshine. Highs will top out in the low to mid 40’s both Tuesday and Wednesday. We’re tracking our next weather-maker approaching Wednesday evening into Thursday. Moisture will surge north into some cooler air, so a rain/snow mix will be possible. Those that do pick up some early December flakes, likely won’t be looking at much accumulating. Highs Thursday will only make it into the upper 30’s, but will warm into the 40’s to get us into the weekend.
