Southern Boone wins first ever state soccer championship

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Southern Boone boys soccer team beat Whitfield, 1-0, on Friday to capture its first ever Class 1 state championship.

The Eagles finished the season a perfect 20-0.
