Rain, wintry mix possible for chilly Thanksgiving Day

TONIGHT: Mostly cloudy and cold with lows around 30.

THANKSGIVING DAY: Scattered rain and snow, eventually transitioning to rain during the day. Little to no accumulation expected. Highs in the upper 30s.

EXTENDED: Rain comes to an end Thursday evening, and with temperatures above freezing for most, road impacts should be fairly minimal Thanksgiving night. Rain returns along with a few rumbles of thunder into Friday. Highs will return to the mid-upper 40s. Rain should come to an end on Saturday early in the day, leaving us mild in the upper 50s with gusty winds increasing by Sunday. It's much cooler on Sunday with highs in the low 40s and wind chills in the 30s, and potentially a few snow or rain showers, especially north of I-70. The pattern stays quiet and seasonable going into next week.
