Residents react to Fulton quadruple shooting
FULTON, Mo. (KMIZ)
There are still no arrests after four people were shot in Fulton Sunday morning.
"It's a shame, it needs to stop," said Courtney Straub, who visits Fulton often.
According to a press release from the Fulton Police Department, the shooting took place around 1:40 a.m. in the Fulton Event Center parking lot.
The four victims are recovering in local hospitals with non-life threatening gunshot wounds but police say they're not cooperating.
"I don't know if they have video footage or anything there or not but most people aren't going to say a whole lot," said Mike Dee, a Callaway County resident.
According to a comment on the event center's Facebook page, they do have surveillance footage and they are working with police.
The Fulton Event Center management took to social media to say they were taken advantage of when an event that was supposed to last from 6 to 11 p.m. led to a 2 a.m. shooting in the parking lot.
"I mean I understand nobody wants to say anything, they don't want to get people in trouble or cause something bigger than what it already is," Straub said. "At the end of the day I mean this is a small community we don't need that drama here, we don't need the violence."
No arrests have been made in relation to this incident.
This is an ongoing investigation. If you have any information you're asked to call the Fulton Police Department or Crimestoppers to remain anonymous.
