Woman receives serious injuries in Audrain County crash

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

One woman was seriously injured in a crash involving three vehicles in Audrain County on Saturday.

It happened on Westbound U.S. 54 just south of Route J.

Doris Cox, 78, was transported to University Hospital by ambulance after a vehicle was following a tractor too closely. The vehicle hit a rear tire on the tractor, crossing the center line and overturning. It then hit the bumper of the third vehicle.

Bryan Sisk, 45, was also taken to Hannibal Regional Hospital with minor injuries.
