JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (KMIZ)

Jefferson City officers say two people were hurt in a crash Thursday morning.

A release from the police department said 17-year-old Michaela Kiesling was driving an SUV around 8:28 a.m.

Officers say Kiesling's vehicle drove into the path of an SUV being driven by 79-year-old Ralph Robinett in the 1900 block of Seven Hills Road.

Kiesling and Robinett both sustained minor injuries from the crash, the release said. Police say Kiesling was taken to a local hospital.

It included Robinett's passenger was not hurt in the wreck. Both vehicles were totaled.
