Mizzou’s defense continues to adjust on a team-by-team basis
COLUMBIA, Mo (KMIZ)
Mizzou football has two-straight wins against two very different offenses.
On Saturday, the Tigers rendered the Kentucky Wildcats' offense pretty useless, limiting them to 145 of total offense on just 36 plays.
Meanwhile, just weeks ago, MU claimed a much different kind of win, in a 45-41 upset over the then No. 17 LSU Tigers.
"It was two different styles of games on both sides. Offensively and defensively, I think we are playing complementary, team football," defensive coordinator Ryan Walters said. "It was a combination of us executing at a higher level, but also the different styles of offenses that we're seeing and the different game plans that we have on both sides of the ball."
We also spoke with special teams coordinator Erik Link and wide receiver Jalen Knox . You can watch those full interviews in the video players below.
