Get out and enjoy today
MONDAY: Another day of sunny skies and temperatures pressing near 60. Get out and enjoy it.
TONIGHT: Things are mostly quiet before midnight. Lows will fall to near 40, but rain chances will be possible by daybreak.
EXTENDED: Tuesday will kick off the start of an active week of weather. We'll still be above average with highs in the 60s, but showers look likely and a few rumbles of thunder can't be ruled out. In fact, we may have a few ingredients to work with to support some stronger storms with this batch of rain. Right now, still looks like an outside shot at best, but something we'll be tracking. It will be breezy in addition to the storm chances. This storm system as a whole looks to bring problems further north, so if travel brings you that direction, keep an eye on road conditions in places like Iowa, Nebraska, or Minnesota. Wednesday looks fairly tame wrapping up Thanksgiving preparations aside from winds keeping up, but Thursday could be a bit more tricky around Mid-Missouri. Another system will ride on the heels of our first, which will help drag some more cold air in. Could be enough that we see some flakes flying on Thursday. We don't expect many problems at this time with travel, but still time for things to be tweaked. Those rain chances stick around into this weekend, but shouldn't have to worry about anything wintry with temperatures warming enough Friday and Saturday.
