One hospitalized after motorcycle crash on Business Loop 70

Columbia, MO (KMIZ)

Police officers were directing cars around a crash involving a motorcycle in Columbia on Saturday afternoon.

The Columbia Police Department, Columbia Fire Department and a Boone Hospital ambulance responded to the crash on Business Loop 70 near Edison Street shortly before 1 p.m.

Westbound traffic was closed briefly during the response, according to ABC 17 News crews at the scene, and has since reopened. Responders were seen transporting one person from the area into an ambulance.

It's not clear how many vehicles were involved, or the extent of any injuries.

ABC 17 News has contacted the departments involved for more information.
