Tracking a cooler Sunday
TONIGHT: Winds will calm slightly with winds only gusting near 15-20 mph. A cold front will be approaching from the northeast as temepratures will fall into the upper 40s.
TOMORROW: Temperatures start out in the lower 50s early on Sunday and fall into the low 40s during the day as the front slides south. Scattered showers will be possible by Sunday afternoon with the best chances for rain falling along and south of I-70.
EXTENDED: The front stays mainly to our south on Monday, but areas south of Highway 50 could see a few showers. Temperatures to start the week will be in the upper 40s to low 50s for highs. The front eventually lifts back north Tuesday and stalls out across Mid-Missouri for most of the week, allowing for continued rain chances, which is much needed around much of the region. Temperatures get back into the mid-upper 60s toward the end of the week before another cold front pushes through for the weekend.
