COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

A man accused of child molestation in Boone County has been arrested.

Everett Roberson, 33, of Columbia, was booked into the Boone County Jail Thursday afternoon on a felony count of second-degree child molestation, according to online records.

Jail records said Roberson was also arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance.

Online court documents say Roberson was charged on Wednesday. The records said his bond was set at $100,000.

As of Friday morning, Roberson was in jail custody.
