Tracking near-freezing temperatures overnight, weekend rain

TONIGHT: Mostly clear with diminishing winds. Lows in the low 30s. Patchy to widespread frost possible through morning.

TOMORROW: Chilly with highs in the upper 50s to around 60 and gusty winds.

EXTENDED: Winds continue to gust to around 30 mph on Saturday from the south/southwest, warming us up into the upper 60s to around 70 on Saturday. A cold front approaching from the north Saturday night will increase cloud cover, with showers filtering in on Sunday. Temperatures drop into the upper 50s to around 60 for Sunday afternoon, with continued rain near the front through Monday and Tuesday depending on the frontal position. Temperatures begin to warm back to near normal by Wednesday and Thursday as the upper pattern becomes a little more southwesterly, but continued rain chances will make it a more active week, with rainfall amounts up to 1" or so by Wednesday.
