Tracking more precipitation tonight

THIS AFTERNOON: Spotty sprinkles are possible. It will remain breezy and cold through the evening.

TONIGHT: A weak upper level disturbance will spin through mid-Missouri tonight bringing a chance at a mix of rain, sleet and snow. Accumulations will be light-- at most a coating of snow on grassy surfaces is possible out the door in the morning.

EXTENDED: Things finally start settling down into the weekend as we start drying out by midday on Saturday. Temperatures only make it into the low 40s again so any tailgaters will need a jacket. By game time, temperatures will be in the upper 30s. Sunday will be the better bet to get out and soak up some sunshine, with highs in the 50s. They'll stay there on Monday but toward the middle of the week, we'll be tracking a low-pressure system that could cause some travel problems around the Midwest. Rain seems more likely at this moment in Mid-Missouri, but snow isn't out of the question. Still a lot to iron out with this system so stay tuned.
