Week three preview: Mizzou vs. No. 17 LSU

Despite changes in location and time, Mizzou football and the LSU Tigers will kickoff on Saturday.
LSU and Mizzou came to the decision to move Saturday's game due to Hurricane Delta's impact on Louisiana, since the game was originally scheduled for 8:00 P.M. in Baton Rouge.
The reigning national champions come to Columbia with a much different team than just one year ago.
Ed Orgeron and company lost more than 30 starters to the NFL and due to opt-outs with COVID-19.
Even with the change in names and faces, the offense has rolled through the start of its season, led by QB Myles Brennan.
Mizzou's defense said it will have to look out for a combination of players, including Brennan and Terrace Marshall Jr.

"LSU is going to score a lot of points on Saturday, and I don’t think there’s anything Mizzou can do about it. The Tigers are the reigning national champs for a reason. Mississippi State caught LSU off guard in Week 1, but I don’t expect the Tigers to make the same mistake twice. With that said - I think Mizzou will be able to move the ball against LSU's defense with Connor Bazelak at the helm. I can see Larry Rountree rushing for 100 yards and multiple touchdowns (hopefully MU will give him the ball). However - Mizzou is just not in the same class right now as LSU. Yes - upsets happen in college football. But, I don’t expect one on Saturday in Columbia. Sorry Mizzou fans."

"Don't be fooled, friends. Yes, LSU's defense is a lot different than just one year ago (they might be missing some Heisman winner...I don't know you?), but they still have weapons to look out for. Ed Orgeron's loss against Mississippi State can probably be chalked up to a new team with new chemistry and probably a little bit of rust. We saw a completely different, more familiar, version of that offense versus Vanderbilt. The offense moved the ball with speed and efficiency.
We are most definitely going to see that on Saturday. We already have a decent snapshot of what QB Myles Brennan can do, but I have a feeling we got a lot more than just a snapshot at Faurot Field.
I like what I saw out of Connor Bazelak versus Tennessee. He's calm, collected, and he has the arm. It really just comes down to expereince. I can see him throwing for a couple touchdowns, along with his running back duo of Larry Rountree III and Tyler Badie. I don't think Eli Drinkwitz will be able to pull off the Mike Leech in this one though."
