Warm weather will continue into the weekend

THIS AFTERNOON: It will be another warm and muggy October afternoon across mid-Missouri. Expect a few more clouds today as clouds from Hurricane Delta continue to stream in.

TONIGHT: The quiet weather sticks around tonight with lows backing off into the upper 50’s under mostly clear skies.

EXTENDED: Another warm afternoon will get us to the weekend on Friday. We’ll be tracking cloud cover both Friday and Saturday, but should stay dry. A disturbance will move in Friday, bringing some clouds, but Delta will be responsible for Saturday’s. Any of the rain associated with what’s left of Delta will stay to our southeast. Highs will top out in the upper 70’s to low 80’s, depending on the cloud cover all the way through the weekend. Our next big weather-maker is waiting for us on Monday. Still a bit uncertain on how this will play out, but there is a scenario where we could be starting off the week stormy. We will cool down to seasonal norms on the other side of Columbus Day.
