Providence Bowl moved back a day

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Providence Bowl will have to wait an extra day. Rock Bridge announced the Bruins football team will now host Hickman on Oct. 17 at noon.

The game was originally scheduled to be played on Friday, Oct. 16 at 7 p.m.

The Bruins recently canceled their game against Battle this Friday due to COVID-19 concerns. Hickman football coach Cedric Alvis said Rock Bridge's game against the Kewpies was moved back to COVID-19 concerns as well.

We will still broadcast the Providence Bowl live on KZOU, 17-3, as it is our game of the week.
