Tracking multiple rain chances
THURSDAY: We have some hit and miss showers moving through this morning, but it looks like this last line of showers will start to move in around 6-7. Most of the activity will clear out of the region by noon as the cold front swings through. But that's when the second act starts-after the warmest start in nearly a month, temperatures will start to fall this afternoon into the mid and upper 40s toward this evening.
TONIGHT: Another disturbance will move in tonight, bringing the return of rain chances south of I-70. Even with overnight lows falling into the low to mid 30s, we don't expect any problem areas on the roads tomorrow morning. We've been too warm these last few days.
EXTENDED: Friday will be spent mostly dry during the daylight, but Friday evening, we're tracking our third chance. This one may have enough cold air to come in as a mix of rain and snow, but will be light in nature and short-lived, that we're not expecting any problems from this system either. Things settle down into the weekend, with the cooler day on Saturday with highs in the 40s, warming to the 50s on Sunday. Toward the middle of next week, we're tracking a storm system that could bring some rain to Mid-Misssouri around Tuesday-Wednesday, just in time for those traveling.
