Online tip to Boone County Sheriff’s Department leads to arrest of a man for child porn

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

An online tip Thursday to Boone County Sheriff’s Department Cyber Crimes Task Force leads to the arrest of a Columbia man for possession of child porn and promoting child porn.

Officials say they found 34-year-old Bill Junior Knowles II at his job.

According to the press release, investigators seized electronics items from on Knowles and additional evidence at his residence.

The defendant is currently in custody at the Boone County Jail.

Knowles is being held on $50,000 cash only bond.
