Quick warmup into this weekend, eyeing next week’s cold front

THIS AFTERNOON: Morning fog has burned off and most areas will rise into the low to mid 70s for afternoon highs with lots of sunshine.

TONIGHT: Should be a good evening to get out across the area. Temperatures will fall through the 60s by 9pm, into the mid to upper 50s overnight.

EXTENDED: Another quiet day around the corner on Friday. Temperatures will warm slightly into the low 80’s. We keep that theme going Saturday but add in some breezy southwesterly winds. Temperatures will make it into the mid to upper 80’s with some gusts around 20 mph. This is all ahead of an approaching cold front which looks to move through early Sunday morning. As it moves through, it looks to be lacking enough moisture to be too concerned with meaningful rain chances. Better bet will be some cloud cover and cooler weather, with highs in the low 80’s Sunday and Monday. By Tuesday, we’ll be tracking another push of cooler air, bringing the return of low to mid 70’s for the middle of next week. We could see overnight lows settling in the low 40’s by the end of the week.
