Columbia man, charged in an April shooting, arrested again while out on bond
COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)
Columbia police arrested a man Monday morning on multiple charges while he was out on bond for an April shooting. Officers say they recognized him as a suspect in several thefts.
Columbia police arrested Keon Deon Jordan, 23, of Columbia on suspicion of stealing and tampering with a motor vehicle in the area of Bryant and Allen streets.
Prosecutors charged Jordan with one count of stealing.
According to court records, Jordan is charged with stealing a gun, second-degree assault, unlawful use of a weapon and illegal gun possession after a shooting at the Green Hills Mobile Home Park on April 29.
Jordan remained in jail for a month, according to online court records. The court reduced his bond on May 27 and two days later he posted bond records show.
Jordan's last court date for the April shooting was Sept. 3. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Oct. 15.
According to court filings, Jordan has a Wednesday court date for the stealing charge. His bond has been set at $25,000.
