Tracking more cloud cover this afternoon
TUESDAY: Clouds are slowly increasing from the south this morning and that will continue into this afternoon. Highs will top out in the mid to upper 70’s today, warmer to the north where we can hang onto sunshine a little longer. If we see any spot sprinkles out of these clouds, it will be down near the I-44 corridor, but most of us will stay dry.
TONIGHT: We keep the dry but cloudy theme going overnight with lows making it into the upper 50’s.
EXTENDED: Our chances for some light rain pick up a bit into tomorrow. Anywhere along and south of I-70 could see a stray shower, but it doesn’t look to last all day or be too heavy. The threat will be there throughout the day, keeping highs in the low to mid 70’s. We start to filter out the cloud cover Thursday and Friday with slightly warmer temperatures, in the upper 70’s and low 80’s. We’ll get there again on Saturday before a cold front sweeps through, bringing cooler weather and rain chances back. Rain again looks light and short-lived, aiming for the overnight hours Saturday into Sunday morning. We’ll be tracking a few more disturbances early next week that could bring additional rain chances to the Midwest.
