12-year-old injured after being hit by truck in Miller County

IBERIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

A 12-year-old girl suffered moderate injuries Wednesday after being hit by a truck in Miller County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol said the girl ran into the road and was hit by a 2005 Ford Ranger at about 2:20 p.m.

The injured child was taken by ambulance to Lake Regional Hospital.

The driver was not injured.
