Mild through mid-week, rain returns by Wednesday

TONIGHT: Mostly cloudy with a few sprinkles. Lows in the upper 30s to around 40.

TUESDAY: Mostly sunny and nice. Highs in the upper 50s.

EXTENDED: A warm front approaches from the southwest and lifts north into Wednesday, making for a breezy day as temperatures increase into the low 60s during the day. The system picks up moisture and rain chances increase late Wednesday into Thursday, bringing showers to Mid-Missouri through early Thursday. Rain amounts will be under 1/2". Highs remain in the upper 50s early Thursday before the cold front swings through, dropping temperatures back into the low 40s for highs on Friday.
