Tracking the heat and humidity creeping back into mid-Missouri

TONIGHT: Mostly clear overnight with lows in the low to mid 60’s.

SATURDAY: Expect another sunny, warm day tomorrow. Humidity will be tolerable, but definitely not as nice as most of the past week was. Expect temperatures to bubble up into the 80s by lunch to near 90 by the later afternoon hours. Clouds will increase into the evening with a slight chance at a couple storms late Saturday night into Sunday morning.

EXTENDED: The cold front will desperately try to push south Sunday, but to no avail. With the boundary around and enough warmth and humidity, a stray afternoon storm is possible but expect to stay dry. Should be a puffy clouds, warm and humid summery day Sunday. The heat holds next week... but we'll be closely monitoring the tropical systems as they could eventually play a role in our weather by the end of next week.
