Boil advisory issued for some south Columbia water users

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Consolidated Water issued a boil advisory Thursday for customers in an area of south Columbia.

The utility said customers along Bearfield Road, in the Bearfield subdivision, along Gans Road east of Rock Quarry Road and along Rock Quarry Road should boil their water after a main break.

The advisory is in effect until noon Friday, the utility said.

This is the second boil advisory to affect customers in that area in eight days.
