Jefferson City teen badly hurt in rollover crash

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (KMIZ)

A Jefferson City teenager suffered serious injuries Tuesday when the SUV she was driving rolled on Highway 54 in Cole County.

Sadie Jacobs, 18, took a curve too fast in her Chevrolet Tahoe near Quail Valley Road on Tuesday afternoon, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported. The Tahoe went off the road and rolled, throwing Jacobs from the vehicle, the patrol said.

Jacobs was not wearing a seat belt.

She was flown to University of Missouri Hospital for treatment. An updated condition report was not available Wednesday.
