Tracking another cool night, beautiful Wednesday

TONIGHT: Becoming mostly clear with light winds. Lows in the low to mid-50s.

TOMORROW: Patchy fog early, east of Highway 63. Partly to mostly sunny with highs in the upper 70s.

EXTENDED: The upper level pattern begins to shift by the end of the week with upper high pressure moving east over the Midwest by Thursday. This will start to increase temperatures back into the low 80s with more humidity settling in as dew points rise. Thursday looks dry, but as the upper pattern flattens a bit, more disturbances will move our way. These waves of energy could trigger a round of storms as early as Friday morning, with more possible over the weekend as a warm front moves west to east across the state Saturday and Sunday. That will also aid in warming temperatures back to near 90 degrees with heat indices rising into the low-mid 90s. Some storms may be strong at times, but an all-weekend washout isn't expected, nor is widespread severe weather at this point. Heat and humidity continue into next week with temperatures staying steady in the upper 80s to around 90.
