Tracking the last of the rain overnight

TONIGHT: Scattered showers will be slow to move out of the southern half of the state this evening, giving us an additional 0.5" to 1" for areas near the Lake of the Ozarks and I-44. Lows fall into the low to mid-60s.

TOMORROW: Mostly cloudy with a few sprinkles to start, becoming partly sunny. Highs in the upper 70s to around 80.

EXTENDED: An upper wave slowly moves east tonight into Saturday, pulling rain chances with it as the low pressure moves out of Mid-Missouri. Temperatures will continue to be below average into this weekend with highs near 80. Another cold front will move through the area on Sunday, giving us a chance for showers and thunderstorms that will be scattered in coverage. We finally clear out behind the front on Monday, with highs about 10 degrees below normal in the 70s through Wednesday. Lows fall into the upper 50s to around 60 degrees during this time frame. Rain chances will be somewhat slim but not zero by the end of the week as we're still under the influence of northwest upper level flow, sending disturbances our way.
