Tracking scattered storms tonight and Friday, continued cool pattern
TONIGHT: Mostly cloudy with scattered showers and a few rumbles of thunder. Mostly cloudy with lows in the upper 60s to around 70.
TOMORROW: Mostly cloudy with a chance for showers and storms, especially south of Highway 50. Highs in the upper 70s to around 80.
EXTENDED: Low pressure moves east Friday into Saturday, taking rain chances with it but the cooler than normal air will linger. Saturday looks to be drier but expect patchy clouds during the day. Highs over the weekend will be right around 80 degrees with lows in the low 60s. Another eastward moving front will slide across the state on Sunday, giving us another chance at showers and storms. We finally settle in for a dry stretch next week through Wednesday, and temperatures will be unseasonably cool with highs in the upper 70s and lows in the upper 50s to low 60s. Rain chances hold off until the end of next week.
